Arrived at brog about 10 and its was blowing its socks off. It was one of them few days in the year that 4.5 sail was needed but as I dont' own one I had to rig a 5.3 and give it an xtra bit of down haul.
Once in the the water it was freezing cold almost painful on the hands brog water is cold at the best to times but with a load of snow melt it was even worst
I had some good runs inbetween warming up in the clubhouse. Most of the runs were really overpowered gybing was out of the question sailing bank to bank beach starting at either end.
I was doing ok once I was up and going but was having problems getting in the straps before i was going at warp factor 10.
On one run a huge gust got me and just picked me and the board up and carried me off down wind but I stayed with it and held it all together, scary but fun.
Decided to call it aday about 2 as sail smaller kit I spend a lot of time in the water which isn't fun this time of year
